R&R

When we came to Hobart last year on holiday we left about half an hour before the Tasmanian International Brewfest was due to start. I literally had to drag Richard past the big shiny shed full of beer so we didn’t miss our plane.  He was seriously considering changing our flights and staying an extra night. So, as you can imagine, we weren’t going to miss it this year!!

We arrived around 2 in the afternoon.  A good time because it wasn’t too crowded and the amount of slurring and sloshing beer bellied 55 year olds could be counted on one hand.  The number of guys wearing beer t-shirts couldn’t though.  It would appear Richard isn’t the only afficianado around here.

The amount of different beers was very exciting, and we made it into the crowd shots in the local newspaper! Plus, we got a Zypfher jug, since it’s been one of Richard’s favourites for a while.  And a Grolsch hat, several coasters, a couple of stubbie holders, stickers and…..I was glad I brought a huge handbag!
