Hi all,

I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who gave me compliments about the blog! I do all the captions and words, but Richard takes all the wonderful photos.  It’s quite addictive writing it although I think Richard is getting sick of me making him take photos of funny shop signs, ridiculous food items and strange vehicles to put on here! (Although he got equally excited by the Manureva bar in Marseille and the three wheeled service vehicles in Italy!

Unfortunately you can’t add your own comments to the blog, unless you go through the rigmarole of becoming a member of tumblr and starting your own blog, which I wouldn’t recommend, so if you take particular offence to anything I write, or can think of a better way to describe something then you’ll have to email me or Richard and let us know!!

(By the way Jason, there’s a high possibility that was in fact the red light district, I saw several sheepish looking men walking out of there and hurriedly reaching for a cigarette…..) And tell Karen, Richard still loves Manchester. He’ll tell her all about it when you two and the boys visit us in Hobart!!
